I'm fine with this, so long as we document the choices users have in the handbook, add a page to the installer, and maybe do a news post |

Hey I see this issue got auto closed by the github-actions bot. Is there no longer any interest in this? I'm interested in this getting merged, if there's any work that's left to do I'd gladly help out. If it's inappropriate to mention or discuss in a closed issue, I apologize. |

Sorry to bump this closed issue, but is there any news about this RFC ? Pretty much everyone that I know who uses void ends up blacklisting sudo and installing opendoas instead, so this RFC getting merged would improve the user experience in my opinion, as most void users are not new to linux but instead users with years of experience. |
I think this package made enough trouble, people should install it explicitly if they want (or an alternative such as doas).
